Missing a Class? Schedule a Makeup!
Your kiddo will have four scheduled classes per month with our highly qualified instructors and if you miss a class for an illness, family trip, or can’t miss doctor’s appointment you can book a makeup class! You can use the Annual Calendar to find out when your child has class.

Schedule a Makeup for a Past Absence
Use these steps if your child has missed a class and you want to book a makeup class.
Login to Parent Portal
From the Menu (icon), select Absences & Makeups.
In the Past section, locate the absence to be made up and click Schedule Makeup.
A window opens with the absence information, the student's name, and the available makeup classes
Click to Select the desired makeup class.
Click Submit.
Click OK to return and close out the window.
The system performs a final check to be sure the class is still available (some class times are very popular and fill up quickly!). If the class is no longer available a message "This class is no longer available for a makeup" pops up and the Select button is disabled. A different class will need to be selected.
If a Makeup success message has been created in the Parent Portal Absence & Makeup Settings, it will display to confirm the submission of the makeup.
Schedule a Makeup for an Upcoming Absence
Do you know that you’ll be missing a class and want to plan ahead? You can mark your child as absent from class in advance and schedule your makeup. We definitely recommend this route although you should be aware that once you mark your child as absent in an upcoming class, the system will make the spot available for another child to use as a makeup during your absence.
Go to the Student record in the Parent Portal.
Select Absences.
Click Schedule Absences.
The Schedule Future Absences - Step 1 window opens with the Students field pre-filled with that student's name.
Select the date(s) the student will be absent.
Optionally, add a Reason for the absence.
Click Next Step.
The Schedule Future Absences - Step 2 window opens displaying the student's name and date(s) they will be absent. Use the checkboxes to select individual classes the student will be absent from, or use Check All Classes to select them all at once. Click Submit.
Click Schedule Makeup.
Click to Select the desired makeup class.
Click Submit.
Important Notes on Makeup Classes
Our makeup classes are unique to our program and have a few limitations and conditions.
Families can book a makeup class in a class where there is a spot available. Popular class times fill up quickly and we are not able to offer make-ups in full classes. We want to make sure everyone participating in class is able to enjoy the space and we cannot guarantee that availability for make up classes.
We do not guarantee availability of makeup class options. Please be considerate of others, and try not to book multiple make ups in the same high-demand class.
A makeup class must be booked and attended within 30 days of the missed class. Families have the option to schedule a makeup for an upcoming absence to account for busy schedules.
Makeups can only be taken by currently enrolled students. Once we have accepted your withdrawal request, you are not able to schedule a make up beyond your last day of class. We are only able to offer currently enrolled students to make up a missed class.
A Makeup class must be booked at least 12 hours in advance to support our team in preparing for the class.
Families that mark themselves as absent for an upcoming class will make their spot in class available to other students to use as a makeup.
